NFØN/KAØKGD Mike Nickolaus (Dakota County, NE) Prev Listed CH'er     Next Listed CH'er The bottom picture is during a 1970 or so Nebraska QSO party, I would set up portable in a county using this setup. It's two bamboo poles and a Hy-Gain tape doublet, the radio was a Galaxy V running 300 watts. I would run both SSB and CW using this setup. I won the Nebraska section that year. The car is a 1966 Plymouth Valiant, a very good car.
