The biggest thank you goes to AB4YZ, Ray and his crew who put on a great
convention. I know, I'm probably forgetting some of the gang, but Jerry, Fred
and Jim you sure made my job easy in the hospitality suite.
I heard nothing but praise about the tours and trips that you had for us. The
banquet was great ... and Walt, K1DFO did a fantastic job as MC along with the
awards that Ray and the kazoo players handed out. The appearance of The
Terminator and the The Three Stooges was hilarious.
I was very proud to be asked to present the first Life Time Achievement Award
#1 to K2NJ, Bill. Bill is a charter member of MARAC #100, has net controlled,
run counties as an individual and as a team, served a President of MARAC for
7 years, held offices in local radio clubs and serves on the DX Association
in New Jersey. Congratulations, Bill.
The final tnx goes to all of you the members. Members who attend the
conventions, take net control, run mobile, work the mobiles, apply for awards,
run for office, and volunteer on committees and cause MARAC to be the
organization that it is.
